Positive Operational LL with INEOS

Fat Canyon (6306/3-1 S) – Intermediate section

What happened:

Had initially many problems with Franks equipment that did not work, and cold windy weather outside for the operators that was outdoor running the equipment.

What was planned:

Run 9 5/8″ casing with FA-1 casing circulating tool where Franks is running all handling equipment, slips, elevator, casing tong, pick up elevator.

What was learned:

Helping each other and working together as a team will improve performance over time. Running speed increased over the day from 7 jts/hr to 13 jts/hr in a very consistent manner.

What actions are required:

Continue work as a team and facilitate work for each other.

What Was Done

Worked with Franks operators, facilitated their work. Gave them food, drinks, gave them a break, had toolpusher look for small improvements, optimized small parts of the operation.
